winter Singing Safari 2014 Come and sing songs from traditions around the world in glorious harmony. On our Singing Safari we will be visiting Africa, America, Eastern Europe, the South Seas and beyond!

The Singing Safari is open to anyone from 16 to 80. There are no auditions and you won't be asked to sing solo. No experience is required as all songs will be taught by ear in the traditional way. Please spread the news, and let's get Woodbridge singing – the more the merrier!

Scunsulata vocal ensemble We are delighted to be joined once again by Scunsulata, a vocal ensemble from Norfolk.

The evening concert will take place at St Mary's Church, Woodbridge on Saturday 23 March 2019 at 7.30pm.

Don't worry if you can't make all six sessions or if you choose not to do the final performance. You can jump on board the safari at any time during the first two sessions. Unfortunately there are no reductions for those people who can't attend all six rehearsals..

If you can't make the spring Singing Safari in Woodbridge, Chris will be running another one next October in Ipswich.

You can hear recordings of some of the songs we sang on past Safaris here: past Singing Safari recordings.

Comments from 2018's Woodbridge Singing Safari:

"Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed taking part in your Singing Safari. Having never sung apart from at school many years ago I was initially nervous about taking part, however I found it very enjoyable and fun and am now hoping to find a choir to join. My husband said he was very impressed that you had managed to get a group to sing to that level in six weeks."

"May I just take this opportunity to say thanks for a great six weeks of singing safari. I have never done anything like that before or thought I could, but I thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be intending to come to the next one. What's more my family were dead impressed by the concert!"

"The best concert ever, I thought, at least from a performer's perspective! I very much enjoyed taking part in a Singing Safari; I appreciated the disciplined approach, the required commitment with an end in view. The energy! As always, the varied choice of songs was a delight."
