winter Singing Safari 2014 Come and sing songs from traditions around the world in glorious harmony. On our Singing Safari we will be visiting Africa, America, Eastern Europe, the South Seas and beyond!

The Singing Safari is open to anyone from 16 to 80. There are no auditions and you won't be asked to sing solo. No experience is required as all songs will be taught by ear in the traditional way. Please spread the news, and let's get Ipswich singing – the more the merrier!

Columbines trio The Columbines folk trio will be joining the autumn the autumn Singing Safari for the first time:

"an acoustic folk/Americana trio specialising in original songs and self-arranged versions of traditional and lesser known folk songs. They are recognised for their striking use of close harmony singing".

The evening concert will take place at St Peter's by the Waterfront, Ipswich on Saturday 24 November at 7.30pm.

Don't worry if you can't make all six sessions or if you choose not to do the final performance. You can jump on board the safari at any time during the first two sessions. Unfortunately there are no reductions for those people who can't attend all six rehearsals..

If you can't make the autumn Singing Safari in Ipswich, Chris will be running another one next February in Woodbridge.

You can hear recordings of some of the songs we sang on past Safaris here: past Singing Safari recordings.
