"I love the African songs as they free you up to not think about the words. The harmonies and rhythms are wonderful. I like the way you teach us – very inclusive and friendly and we manage to achieve lots!" Participant on a previous African singing day

This singing day is an opportunity to sing and move to infectious African rhythms in a safe and friendly environment. As the old proverb from Zimbabwe says: "If you can walk then you can dance; if you can talk then you can sing"
Chris teaches everything by ear (no need to read music). No previous experience needed – just bring yourself and have a go. Whether you've only ever sung in the shower, or you're already in a choir, there will be something here for everyone.
Comments from previous African singing days:
"That was wonderful! Thank you so much for giving us such a happy day. Everyone who came with me absolutely loved the day and was full of praise for your ability to make music and help us to enjoy using our voices and bodies and minds to make such a joyful noise!!"
"I really enjoyed the singing and came home on a bit of a high. I had African songs going round in my head for most of the week – a welcome distraction when I was slaving over my computer at work!"
"Just to say a big thank you for a wonderful day on Saturday. No idea where you pulled your energy from, but a great collection of songs and as always massively clear, stimulating and fun teaching."
