"It was a great day that I really enjoyed. Learnt a great deal about myself as a singer and my interaction with others when singing in a group. Really nice group of singers too. It is hard work to stay in focus but really worth it." Participant on the January 2019 mindful singing day

Comments from the January 2019 Mindful Singing day:
"I thoroughly enjoyed the mindfulness singing day, thank you! I really love singing but have had a lot of confidence and breathing issues so it worked really well for me, and I left my gremlins at the door. The main benefit for me was learning that I don't have to be THE BEST or THE LOUDEST ... I can just sing!"
"I really enjoyed the mindful singing day. I have studied mindfulness on a long course some time ago, but it's always good to be reminded of the basic principles and to be in the moment. So easy to say - so hard to do!"
"The workshop was amazing! I really didn't think that by the end I would stand up in front of everyone and sing like that. I found the techniques you used to get us comfortable with singing in front of everyone were great. By starting really slowly with breathing, then to singing one or two notes, and building up to singing a few lines of a song really help build our confidence levels."
"I really enjoyed the day. I particularly liked learning and singing the harmonies alongside other parts. I have had to concentrate really hard on my part to avoid being distracted. By the end I could really see the importance of listening to each other and working together to make such a cohesive sound."
