Felden Lodge dining room
We will learn a variety of traditional folk songs from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales arranged in 3- and 4-part harmony. Rousing drinking songs, yearning love songs, robust sea shanties, spooky ballads, songs of the countryside. Something for everyone!

Felden Lodge coffee lounge Chris has carefully chosen the songs which are all arranged for voices only. He teaches everything by ear so there is no need to read music.

Chris will make a recording of the workshop available free afterwards. This will remind you of the weekend and impress you with the sound we create together!

Comments from 2018's singing weekend at Felden Lodge:

"The company and choice of songs was great. Who knew that such a venue and location was near Hemel Hempstead!"

"The whole weekend was so enjoyable. Music was excellent, schedule was agreeable with generous free time and breaks, the venue was cosy and lent itself to socialising in the communal areas."

"I liked the pace and variety in the workshop sessions. The venue was fine and we were well catered for. I enjoyed having space and the countryside is easily accessible. Important when so many people are gathered together for a period of time!"
